I'm a French-Guatemalan photojournalist. I started out shooting landscapes, and still do. I've worked as a professional photojournalist since 2014, and in early 2016 I co-founded the visual magazine comvite.com with a friend, which ran until 2024.
My work focuses on migration, climate change, culture and traditions, breaking news, and natural disasters. I documented the Central American migrant caravans from 2018 to 2020, the U.S. expulsions to the Guatemalan border in 2021, and the aftermath of Hurricanes Eta and Iota in 2020. In 2018 I covered the eruption of Volcán de Fuego, and in 2023 I followed the Guatemalan elections and their aftermath. My coverage of the 2018 migrant caravan crossing the Suchiate River, on assignment for the Associated Press, received an Honorable Mention in Breaking News at the 2019 NPPA Best of Photojournalism awards.
Currently I work as a multimedia editor for EPA Images.
My photography has been published by the Associated Press, EFE, AFP, The New York Times, The Economist, Vice, and TIME. I've also contributed to AP and Al Jazeera as a videographer. Commercially, I shoot weddings, landscapes, products, home decor, and coffee.
